Darkseed, a German gothic metal band from Munich, was formed in 1992. Initially
focusing on death metal, Darkseed released two demo tapes and an EP titled
Romantic Tales before transitioning to gothic metal with their debut album
Midnight Solemnly Dance. The group signed with Nuclear Blast for their second
album Spellcraft, which marked a significant breakthrough in 1997. Following
