Daniel Boucher
Born in Montreal, Canada, on October 7, 1971, Daniel Boucher is a Quebec rock
singer. During his studies in civil engineering, he discovered his passion for
the stage at Cégeps en spectacle, held at Cégep Ahuntsic in Montreal in 1991. He
was a finalist at the Festival en chanson de Petite-Vallée in 1996, winning top
honors in 1997. In autumn 1999, he released his first album, Dix Mille Matins,
including his first hit "La Désise " . In 2001, this song won the Felix for Song
of the Year at ADISQ, awarded to the most popular radio hit of recent months.
