Dance With a Stranger was a Norwegian rock band formed in Bergen in 1984. The
group consisted of Frode Alnæs on guitar and vocals, Øivind "Elg" Elgenes on
vocals, Bjørn Jenssen on drums, and Yngve Moe on bass. They released their debut
album Dance With A Stranger in 1987, marking the beginning of a successful
career. The band's breakthrough came with the release of Atmosphere in 1991,
which earned them the prestigious Spellemannprisen award for Spellemann of the
Year. This recognition solidified their status in the Norwegian music scene and
