Whether charming rootsy traditionalists at the Grand Ole Opry or selling out
arenas, wholesome songwriting duo Dan + Shay carved out a reputation for soaring
hits. Dan Smyers grew up in Wexford, Pennsylvania and studied finance at college
before following his dreams and heading to Nashville in his early twenties,
