Damn Yankees is an American hard rock supergroup formed in 1989 in the USA,
bringing together four already famous musicians: vocalists and guitarists Tommy
Shaw (Styx) and Ted Nugent (ex-Amboy Dukes and solo career), bassist Jack Blades
(Night Ranger) and drummer Michael Cartellone (future Accept and Lynyrd
Skynyrd). Signed by Warner Bros., the band released their first album Damn
Yankees in 1990, produced by Ron Nevison. It proved a commercial success, going
double platinum in the U.S. and featuring their biggest hits: the hard rock
ballad "High Enough " (#3), "Come Again" (#50)...
