Daisy×Daisy, originally a Japanese duo turned solo project, was formed in 2005 by MiKA (vocals/lyrics) and yuuki (guitarist/composer/lyricist). MiKA, born on October 4, 1983, in Ehime Prefecture, began her musical journey at the age of four studying Enka, a traditional Japanese music style. The duo released their first EP Pieces in August 2007, marking their debut in the music industry. In 2008, yuuki left the group, and MiKA continued as a solo artist under the same name.
