CrashCarBurn
CrashCarBurn is a South African rock band formed in London in 2006 and based in
South Africa from early 2007, fronted by vocalist Garth Barnes. Their debut
album This City Needs a Hero was released in 2007, recorded at Miloco Studios
with Colin Richardson and Matt Hyde, and the single “Serenade” entered 5FM's
Hi5@5 that August. The group followed with extensive touring, including the XBOX
360 Summer Tour, Powerzone Roadshows, and a 2008 appearance at MyCokeFest
supporting Muse, Good Charlotte, and Korn, while winning the mtvU Freshmen
