Core of Soul, formed in Osaka, Japan, comprised vocalist Fukiko Nakamura,
guitarist and bassist Rui Song, and programmer Keisuke Iizuka; the group debuted
with the single "Photosynthesis" on 16 May 2001, followed by "Full Moon Prayer"
later that year, establishing a blend of folk, rap, and rock influences. Their
