Coil
Formed in 1982 by ex-Psychic TV members John Balance and Peter Christopherson
(a.k.a. Sleazy), Coil is a forerunner of industrial, experimental and electronic
rock. Coil's diverse, avant-garde music has spawned a number of landmark albums,
including Horse Rotorvator (1986) and Love Secret's Domain (1991). John
Balance's death on November 13, 2004 put an end to the band's existence.
