South Korean superstar CL (Lee Chae-rin) is a rapper, singer-songwriter, and
former member of one of the biggest South Korean girl groups of all time. Born
in Seoul on February 26th, 1991, as a child CL lived in Tsukuba, Tokyo, and
later Paris, where she ended up studying for two years as a teenager. Setting
her sights on a career in the South Korean music industry, she auditioned to
join entertainment behemoth YG Entertainment aged 15 and scored her first
feature on Big Bang's "Intro (Hot Issue)" in 2007, with her name officially
appearing in the credits for Uhm Jung-hwa's "DJ" ...
