Born in Cambridge, UK, on August 2, 1992, to a father of Scottish origin and an
Indian mother born in Uganda, Charlotte Emma Aitchison took the stage name
Charli XCX and recorded a first independent album, 14 (2008), which remained
confidential. A product of the English electronic rave party scene, she released
