Chang Shilei, born on July 21, 1981, in Guangzhou, China, is a singer. After
graduating from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, Chang gained experience as a
professional composer and music producer. His breakthrough came when one of his
demos was presented to the general director of the Chinese Olympic Committee for
the Beijing 2008 Olympics opening ceremony. Chang Shilei performed "You and Me"
alongside Sarah Brightman and Liu Huan during the event, marking a significant
milestone in his career. He also contributed to the soundtrack of Zhang Yimou's
film with "The Hawthorn."
