Carleen Anderson
Carleen Anderson is one of the most beautiful voices in soul and funk. Daughter
of Vicki Anderson and Bobby Byrd, James Brown's backing vocalist and pianist
respectively, she was a latecomer to singing, making superb recordings such as
Blessed Burden (1998) and Soul Providence (2005), as well as appearing with The
Young Disciples and The Brand New Heavies.
