Bumkey is the stage name of South Korean R&B singer Kwon Ki-bum (September 22, 1984), mostly known as a member of the hip-hop duo 2winS and R&B four-piece Troy. Hailing from Seoul, he relocated to Los Angeles with his family as a teenager before returning to South Korea in 2004 to fully devote himself to music. After landing a handful of features on songs by mainstream rap artists such as Dynamic Duo, Brown Eyes, and Epik High, he underwent vocal cord surgery and was unable to sing for almost two years.
