Bob Elvis
Real name Masudi Matengo Bob, rapper Bob Elvis was born in Kisangani in the
Democratic Republic of Congo before moving as a "war displaced person" to the
capital Kinshasa in 2000 following the Six-Day War. He opened his recording
account in 2015 with a 10-track debut project entitled J'Amène la Clé, which
helped him make a name for himself as far afield as Europe and Asia. Three years
later, he released a highly committed project, Anti Médiocrité, with which he
intends to denounce the political and social situation in his country, while
through the track "Dégage", he urges voters...
