Bloodthirsty Butchers, a Japanese rock band from Sapporo, Hokkaidō, was formed
in 1986 by Hideki Yoshimura, Takeshi Imoriya, and Kiyomi Sano. Their debut
album, Bloodthirsty Butchers, was released in May 1990, followed by releases
including I'm Standing Nowhere (1993), Lukewarm Wind (1994), and Kocorono
(1996). The band gained international recognition with contributions to
compilations on the Olympia, Washington-based Yoyo label. Notable collaborations
