BK', born Abebe Bikila Costa Santos on March 20, 1989, in Rio de Janeiro, is a
Brazilian rapper, songwriter, and one of the most influential figures in
contemporary Brazilian hip-hop. Raised in Cidade de Deus before moving to
Catete, he initially pursued film studies but turned to music, first making
waves as part of the underground rap collective Nectar Gang. In 2016, he
released his debut album Castelos & Ruínas, which was widely praised and marked
