Bernd Spier was born on April 6, 1944 in Ludwigslust, Mecklenburg (Germany). He
is a German pop singer and producer who is considered one of the most successful
German-language performers of the 1960s. Bernd Spier was already making music in
a band with friends in his youth and was discovered through appearances on radio
programs, which led to his first recording contract with CBS in 1963. His
musical focus is on pop and light light music, often with German versions of
international hits. His second single was already an unexpected success: "Das
