Beccy Cole, born Rebecca Diane Thompson on October 27, 1972, in Glenelg,
Australia, is a country music singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. She
began performing at age 14 with her mother's group, Wild Oats. In 1993, Beccy
Cole won the Star Maker award at the Country Music Awards of Australia, leading
to her first single, "Fooling' Around", which reached Number 2 on the country
