Babylon A.D. was formed in 1987 in the San Francisco Bay Area, California, by
lead vocalist Derek Davis, guitarist Ron Freschi, drummer Jamey Pacheco, bassist
Robb Reid, and guitarist Danny De La Rosa. The group debuted with the single
"Bang Go the Bells" in 1989, followed by "The Kid Goes Wild" the same year,
which appeared on the soundtrack of RoboCop 2. Their self‑titled debut album
Babylon A.D. was released in 1989 under Arista Records, featuring tracks such as
"Hammer Swings Down". In 1992 the band issued Nothing Sacred, producing singles
"Bad Blood" and "So Savage the Heart...
