B.T. Express, originally named Brooklyn Transit Express, were an American funk and soul music group formed in 1974 from members of the King Davis House Rockers. The band included Richard "Rick" Thompson on lead guitar and vocals, Bill Risbrook on tenor saxophone and flute, Terrell Wood on drums, Barbara Joyce Lomas on vocals, Carlos Ward on alto sax and woodwinds, Dennis Rowe on percussion, and Louis Risbrook (later known as Jamal Rasool) on bass.
