Singer and rapper Bernard Greene – born on September 28, 1965, in Washington,
D.C. – was better known by his stage name, B.G. the Prince of Rap. His career
started after graduating from high school and enlisting in the U.S. Army.
Stationed in Germany in 1985, he began to dabble in rap music, landing a record
deal and releasing his debut single, “Rap to the World,” in 1990. He came to
