Aysanabee
Evan Pang, known as Aysanabee, was born in Thunder Bay, Ontario, and is a
Canadian Oji‑Cree singer‑songwriter and guitarist. He worked in mining and
studied journalism before turning to music during the COVID‑19 pandemic,
releasing the single "Nomads" in 2021, which reached Number 1 on the CBC Music
Top 20 and the Alternative Rock chart in March 2023, becoming the first
Indigenous Canadian artist to top that chart. In 2022 he signed with Ishkōdé
