Co-founder of the group Animal Collective with his sidekick Panda Bear, David
Portner aka Avey Tare has also embarked on parallel paths with Terrestrial Tones
in 2005, as a duo with his wife Kria Brekkan(Pullhair Rubeye, 2007) or as a solo
artist with the album Down There in 2010, recorded in a New York church.
