Australian Crawl, an Australian pop band, was formed in Melbourne in 1978. The
original lineup included James Reyne on lead vocals and piano, Brad Robinson on
rhythm guitar, Paul Williams on bass, Simon Binks on lead guitar, and David
Reyne on drums. After David Reyne left the group, he was replaced by Bill
McDonough. Their first single, “Beautiful People”, reached number 22 on the
national charts in 1979. The band's debut album, The Boys Light Up, released in
