Auletta is a German pop‑rock group formed in Mainz in 2005, named after the
Italian town visited by its founding members during a summer holiday in 2006.
The core lineup, established after the return of Alexander Zwick and Martin
Kloos from stays in England and Spain, began performing in 2007 alongside acts
such as Art Brut and the Kilians, and reached the Central Europe final of the
Emergenza competition that same year, subsequently winning the Rockbuster
