Ashton, Gardner & Dyke
Ashton, Gardner & Dyke were a British rock trio formed in 1968. The band
consisted of Tony Ashton (keyboards, vocals), Kim Gardner (bass), and Roy Dyke
(drums). Ashton and Dyke first collaborated while playing with various
Blackpool-based groups before joining the Liverpool beat group The Remo Four. In
1968, they formed Ashton, Gardner & Dyke with bassist Kim Gardner. Their debut
single "Maiden Voyage / See The Sun In My Eyes" was released on Polydor Records
in 1969 but did not achieve significant success. However, their follow-up single
"Resurrection Shuffle" on Capitol Records ...
