Asanee–Wasan, a Thai rock band fronted by brothers Asanee "Pom" Chotikul and
Wasan "Toe" Chotikul, were born in Loei Province, Northeast Thailand. The duo
started their music career in the 1970s as part of the folk-rock combo Isn't.
Asanee later joined The Oriental Funk band and Butterfly before reuniting with
Wasan to form Asanee–Wasan in 1986. Their debut album Bah horb fang was released
under Nite Spot. This was followed by Puk-chee roy nah, which included songs
such as "Nung Mit Chid Klai" and "Kor Keui Sanya". The band signed with Grammy
