Arelys Henao
Colombian singer, Arelys Henao is known as La Reina de la Música Popular, The
Queen of Popular Music, in her home country. She has been writing, recording and
performing since 1996, walking in the footsteps of her hero and compatriot Darío
Gómez. Since then she has written upwards of 200 songs and recorded five albums.
Having won or been nominated for several awards, recording, touring and writing
with international artists, Henao finally got to record with her hero Gómez in
2013 with the best-selling song 'The Queen and the King'.
