Angeles del Infierno, a heavy‑metal group from Lasarte‑Oria, Guipúzcoa, Spain,
was founded in 1978 by guitarist Robert Álvarez and bassist Santi Rubio. The
band gained a foothold in the early 1980s when vocalist Juan Gallardo joined in
1982, prompting the name change to Ángeles del Infierno; the lineup subsequently
included guitarist Manu García and drummer Iñaki Munita. Their breakthrough came
with the 1989 debut A Cara O Cruz, followed by 666 and Joven Para Morir the same
