andymori
andymori were a three-piece Japanese rock band. Their name is a merging of Andy
Warhol and the phrase 'memento mori' meaning 'remember you must die'. Formed in
2008, their first EP was 'Andy, Rock, Bengal Tiger and Whiskey'.
They made their debut with the album 'andymori' in 2008, featuring the single
'Follow Me'. Their second album was 'Fanfare to Nekkyo' in 2010, followed by
'Kakumei' in 2011.
In 2012 they released the album 'Hikari' but shortly after they announced that
they were splitting up. The band were a popular live act and released four live
dvds.
