Born in Brooklyn, New York on April 4, 1956, Allan Harris is an award-winning
jazz vocalist, songwriter, and guitarist. He made his recorded debut with the
1994 album Setting the Standard, which made an impression on critics and music
fans alike. Further albums included It’s a Wonderful World (1995), The Music of
Duke Ellington (1999), and Nat King Cole: Long Live the King (2010). His 2006
