Akira The Don (real name Adam Jan Narkiewicz) emerged in the early 2000s as a rapper with the underground hip-hop collective Crack village, which he later left to pursue a career in music production. His debut EP, Akira The Don's First Ep, released in 2004, marked his entry into the scene, followed by the single "O! (What A Glorious Thing)" in 2006. In 2006 he also released When We Were Young, his first full‑length album, and continued to build momentum with Hypocrite (2007) and Living In The Future (2011).
