Acoustic Ladyland was a jazz-punk group based in London, formed in 2001. The
band consisted of Peter Wareham on vocals and saxophones, Seb Rochford on drums,
Chris Sharkey on guitar, and Ruth Goller on bass guitar. Tom Herbert from The
Invisible played bass on their first three albums. Acoustic Ladyland released
their debut album Camouflage, an acoustic reinterpretation of Jimi Hendrix's
songs, in June 2004. Their second album, Last Chance Disco (December 2005),
featured original compositions and won the Jazzwise Album of the Year award. The
