Yukihiro is the driving force behind the electronic and rock project Acid
Android. Beginning his musical journey as a drummer for L'Arc-en-Ciel, he
transitioned into a solo endeavor that combined industrial rock, alternative
dance, and EBM. In 2002, he released the self‑titled album Acid Android,
followed by the EP Faults in 2003, featuring vocalist Toni Halliday. The 2006
studio album Purification marked a shift toward a harder, faster sound,
