Aaron Watson, born James Aaron Watson on August 20, 1977 in Amarillo, Texas, and
learned guitar at Lubbock Christian University and Abilene Christian University.
He debuted with Aaron Watson – Singers and Songwriters (1999), followed by Texas
Cafe (2000) and Shut Up and Dance (2002), which earned national radio attention.
His next releases-The Honky Tonk Kid (2004) produced by Ray Benson with
Willie Nelson, San Angelo (2006), Barbed Wire Halo (2007), and Angels & Outlaws
